Japan CCS Co., Ltd. presented at the 4th International Workshop on Offshore Geologic CO2 Storage and STEMM-CCS Open Science Meeting.
The “4th International Workshop on Offshore Geologic CO2 Storage and STEMM-CCS Open Science Meeting” was held on February 12 and 13, 2020 in Bergen, Norway. The conference was hosted by the University of Bergen covering subjects on the offshore geological CO2 Storage and Environmental Monitoring of Marine Carbon Capture and Storage. Across two days, researchers and leaders from the CCS community met together and discussed panel discussions, plenaries and technical sessions. In the session of “Project Updates”, Japan CCS made a presentation on “Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Project”.
Following the conference, on February 13, 2020, a site visit was conducted to Northern Lights project’s proposed hub, called “CCS Base”, at Kollsness.
