Japan CCS presented at “Net-Zero Key Enabler – CCS International Conference”
On 8th October, the “Net-Zero Key Enabler – CCS International Conference” was held in Taipei, Taiwan (Organizer: Climate Change Administration, Ministry of Environment, Taiwan, Host: National Taiwan University). From Taiwan, CCS policymakers and researchers of the Ministry of Environment, National Taiwan University, and National Central University participated. From Japan, JOGMEC, the University of Tokyo, and Japan CCS participated. Both countries presented their respective CCS policies and development status, followed by an exchange of views during the subsequent panel discussion. Japan CCS made a presentation on the technical achievements and public outreach activities of the Tomakomai Project entitled “Japan’s Tomakomai CCS Project” in Session 3: CCS Technology and Stakeholder Communication.
