Regarding the extension of CO2 injection period
This is to inform that the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will continue the implementation of sub-seabed CO2 injection and storage in FY2019, targeting the achievement of 300,000 tonnes of cumulative CO2 injection.
To this end, Japan CCS Co., Ltd. will continue its efforts to progress the Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Project, securing the understanding and cooperation of the local community, government and organizations concerned while keeping safety our top priority.
