During this period, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) set up the “Japan Pavilion” in Glasgow, UK, where Japanese companies and other organizations exhibited and held seminars in order to communicate the concerted efforts and environmental technologies of Japan’s public and private sector aiming towards the transition to decarbonization. During the same period, a “Virtual Japan Pavilion” was also set up to showcase Japanese companies virtually.

Japan CCS exhibited on the Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Project in both the Japan Pavilion as well as the Virtual Japan Pavilion.
