Japan CCS presented at the 13th Trondheim CCS Conference
The 13th Trondheim CCS Conference (TCCS-13) was held in Trondheim, Norway from Monday, June 16 to Thursday, June 19. Japan CCS made a presentation entitled “Recommendation for appropriate CCS monitoring design in Japan based on the Tomakomai CCS demonstration project” in the session “CO2 storage – monitoring” on June 18.
This international conference is held there every two years to share the latest research and technological developments in carbon capture, transport, and storage (CCS). Participants mainly from Europe involved in CCS attended the meeting, which provided a valuable opportunity to understand the current status and future direction of CCS in Europe, and to disseminate Japan’s efforts in this area.
