Japan CCS was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 11th International Conference on CCS in Trondheim.
The 11th Trondheim Conference on CO₂ Capture, Transport and Storage (TCCS-11), hosted by SINTEF, Norwegian CCS Research Center (NCCS) and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) was held online on June 22-23, 2021, and Japan CCS presented a paper entitled “Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Project – Achievements and Future Outlook”. At the virtual ceremony held on June 22, the SINTEF and NTNU CCS Award and Best Paper and Poster awards were announced. Japan CCS received the Best Paper Award. Professor Hanna Knuutila of NTNU said, “It’s a well-written paper, presenting an important international project and had excellent feedback from the reviewers.” The award was also mentioned on the IEAGHG blog.
